Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has unveiled a local masterpiece that's set to redefine driving exhilaration - the locally assembled Volkswagen Golf R. With an anticipated price range between RM330,000 to RM350,000, this "R-Rated" hatchback is ready to take the Malaysian roads by storm.

At the core of this high-octane offering is the "R Performance Package," a suite of enhancements that solidifies the Golf R's position as a dynamic powerhouse. A highlight of this package is the titanium Akrapovič exhaust system, a masterpiece by the revered exhaust company Akrapovič. Known for their premium exhaust systems, the exhaust shaves off seven kilograms while delivering a symphony of performance-tuned notes.

But the excitement doesn't end there. The Golf R introduces two electrifying modes through the "R" button on its sporty, flat-bottomed steering wheel.
